第二课时
Teaching goals:
Ss can describe their school trip.
Ss can master the usage of the simple past tense.
Ss can make up their own dialogue by practicing with deskmate.
Teaching Important Points:
Train Ss’ understanding of the simple past tense.
Ss can master how to turn present tense to past tense.(three rules)
Ss can finish the exercises in 3a by using the past tense.

Ss can make a survey by using the words they have learned.

Teaching Procedures:
Step1: role-play the conversation.
1.Listen to the tape and repeat.
2.circle the past tense of the verbs and write its simple tense.
3.group work
make a survey. Ask your parnters what did they do last weekend. Then give a report.

Step2: Grammar Focus
1.find the past tense of these verbs. At the same time, find out
three different rules to form the past tense. (group discussion)
构成规则 原形 过 去 式
一般在动词原形末尾加-ed work
play worked
played
结尾是e的动词加-d hope
live hoped
lived
末尾只有一个辅音字母的重读闭音节词,先双写这个辅音字母,再加-ed stop
trip stopped
tripped
结尾是“辅音字母+y”的动词,先变“y”为“ i”再加-ed study
worry studied
worried
2.remember the conclusion
动词一般过去时,表示过去发生事;
be用was或用were, have, has变had;
谓语动词过去式,过去时间坐标志;
一般动词加-ed,若是特殊得硬记。
否定句很简单,主语之后didn’t添;
疑问句也不难,did放在主语前;
如果谓语之前有did,谓语动词需还原;
动词若是was,were,否定就把not添。

Reflection:
在讲完conversation之后,直接讲grammar focus, 感觉好像知识脱节了。如果把处理对话中的第二步和第三步换个顺序,这样就会有一个联系与铺垫。先进行口语上的输出,完成调查的内容,再把对话中的动词的过去式找出来,写出意思,并写出其现在式,从中补充进一些本单元的重点单词,再让学生分组来讨论动词现在时变过去时的规律,从而让学生能够有深刻的印象。
