    提交格式:在“第三次研修作业”处提交,标题需设置为【重建课】+姓名/项目县/学校。例:【重建课】张三潢川县一小

    分数说明:提交得5分,被批阅为“优秀”加5分,被批阅为“良好”加3分,被批阅为“合格”加1分,被批阅为“不合格”不加分,未提交不得分。满分10分。

第三次研修作业

 There are five parts in my teaching plan, Analysis of the teaching material, analysis of students, analysis of teaching objectives, analysis of teaching methods, analysis of learning strategies and analysis of teaching procedures.   

1. Analysis of the teaching material

1) Status and Function.

This lesson is a strong practical course. “What are you going to do? I am going to...” is the key sentence . The activity is suitable for people subject often encountered in everyday life, which is closely linked to the students' level of knowledge and life experience, so this topic is easy to stimulate students' interest in learning. In addition, primary school students have studied the bisic expression of some activities such as “visit my grandparents”, “see a film”, “take a trip”, “go to the supermarket” and so on.

 By learning this lesson to consolidate knowledge learned to master the correct use of language structure on “What are you going to do? I am going to...” and activities will be described. Finally, it should be noted in the teaching process, set the task should have a clear purpose and operational, so that it can help to improve the ability to use real language.

2) Key and Difficult points

Key point: Help students to grasp the expression of how to ask and answer “What are you going to do? I am going to...”  in the lesson.

Difficult point: Help student to master the grammar -be going to do sth and set up meaningful situations to help students communicate in English. 

2. Analysis of Students

Students of Grade 6 have known some adjectives and nouns before. And also, they will develop a strong desire for knowledge once they noticed that this lesson is closely connected to their daily life. However, some of them are not confident enough in speaking English and are afraid of making mistakes. So one of my teaching aims is to open their mouth and enjoy learning English.

3.Analysis of the Teaching objectives

1) Aim of Knowledge 

According to English Curriculum, I set the teaching objects as follows: In order to master the ability to ask and answer “What are you going to do? I am going to...”, students need to master these following phrases and sentence patterns. 

Key phrases: “visit my grandparents”, “see a film”, “take a trip”, “go to the supermarket”

Sentence patterns: “What are you going to do? I am going to...”

2) Aim of Ability

Through this lesson, students will be enable to

(1) Develop their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

(2) Use the new knowledge naturally.

3)Aim of Emotion 

To help the students fluently use English to ask and answer“What are you going to do? I am going to...” in the real context.

4. Analysis of teaching methods

In this lesson, I’ll mainly use CLT Communicative Language Teaching, TBLT Task-based Language Teaching and traditional PPP Presentation – Practice – Production these three teaching methods together. As we know, the main instructional aim of students in primary school is to cultivate their abilities of listening, speaking, writing and reading and their good sense of English. That is the reason why I choose these three methods. And also, I’ll combine the PPT, chalk and tape recorder into this class. I believe that students will have a better understanding of the target language after this lesson.

5. Analysis of learning strategies

This lesson can enable students to learn strategies of learning key phrases and structures from pictures and strategies of solving problems through cooperation.

Step1  lead-in


I’ve designed some scenery’s pictures on the screen, and added picture of calendar. First, I’ll ask myself “The weekend is coming. What am I going to do ?” Then I will reply “cycle”, “no !” “ I am going to read a book.” Besides, I make a warm-up, calling my students. I set a real calling situation. I call four students and ask them “Hi, what are you going to do ?” and they reply to me “Hi, Mr. Liu! I am going to......” By this way can I begin my new lesson more naturally and easily.

Step2  Presentation

Next, I’ve designed some questions for students to answer “what are you going to do ?”  At the same time, I’ll explain the meaning of key phrases to students-“visit my grandparents”拜访我的祖父母或外公外婆, “see a film”看电影, “take a trip”去旅行, “go to the supermarket”去超市And then, the pictures with target language are to be shown on the screen one by one.

The key phrases are to be shown clearly with the pictures before the students which can deepen their memory of the words. Also, the contents are closely connected with their daily life, making it funny in learning English.

After learning the key phrases, now students have a chance to practice it. I’ve shown some examples on the screen. They can imitate the sentence which I gave them to practice and try to naturally use the pattern. After they finish the practice, I’ll ask some volunteers to make conversation in the class. At last, I’ll show my example to them.

This step can present students with the sentence patterns clearly. Besides, it gives students chances to solve the problems through cooperation and share their information gap. More importantly, they can speak English confidently under the guidance of the sentence patterns.

Step3  Practice

Step 3 is practice. First, there is a listening task for them to finish. Students have to listen to the tape carefully and write down activities of which they heard. After finish the task, we’ll check the answer together which means that the tape recorder will be play at second time. Next, there is a form where some blanks in which students have to fill according to the contents of the tape. This step not only offers a chance for students to practice the shorthand, but also develop their listening strategies of guessing meaning from the text.

After that I will do pair work of “what are you going to do ? I am going to...” , in order to strength their memory. Finally, I will show a short passage to them to improve them reading skill.   

Step4  Summary

I’ll lead the students to review the phrases and sentence patterns what we learned in this class.

Step5  Homework

Finally, the homework. I’ll ask them to write four dilogues by using the sentence patterns“what are you going to do ? I am going to...”which can help them to deepen the knowledge they’ve learnt.
