一、教材分析
本节课是人教版新目标英语九年级第二单元的阅读内容，本单元以“the Spirit of Christmas”为话题，通过狄更斯的《圣诞欢歌》来阐释圣诞节的真正意义。学生通过思维导图及阅读方法运用，提高阅读能力。
二、学情分析
对于九年级的学生来说,已经有了一定的英语学习基础,掌握了一点英,美国家日常生活中的不同传统特点,但总体上来说,还比较少.圣诞节是他们熟知的也是他们很感兴趣的话题,但对于狄更斯及《圣诞欢歌》，学生所知甚少,因而词汇量和信息量可能会偏大,所以在课堂上，借助网络和书籍,了解西方文化,培养自学能力;教师在预设的任务中,注意引导学生在交际中动态生成,学生有话可说,乐于合作分享.这样就有利于他们更好的运用课本知识,达到提高综合运用语言能力的目的。
三、学习目标
通过课前阅读，能找出文章中心思想---圣诞节真谛。
2.通过小组合作和利用思维导图，能读懂文章大意，并回答问题。
3.通过小组合作及展示，表演展示圣诞欢歌内容。
4.通过利用思维导图，学生逐步养成围绕写作目的撰写英语文章的意识。
四、评价任务
教师出示圣诞帽，学生猜出Christmas导入新课，利用思维导图谈论圣诞节引起学生思考，找出圣诞节的真谛。完成学习目标1。
观看微课了解《圣诞欢歌》作者狄更斯的信息；观看视频加深对《圣诞欢歌》的理解，小组合作展示《圣诞欢歌》。完成学习目标2、3。
教师协助学生创建有关中秋节的思维导图，并依据思维导图撰写一篇介绍中国传统节日文章。完成学习目标4。

Step 7. Summary The teacher leads students to summarize what we learned in this class by themselves according to the mind map.

狄更斯是英美文学里的“大师”，而中国学生对他知之甚少。利用微课介绍狄更斯，加深学生对文章及英美文化的里了解。
学生细读文章。利用小组合作学习讨论重难点，（老师来回走动，观察，随时提供帮助）。在文中找到老师提问的问题答案,并完成思维导图。完成学习目标2.
学生利用《圣诞欢歌》的视频，加深对文章的理解。
小组合作表演出《圣诞欢歌》的主要内容。完成学习目标3。
根据思维导图学生自主总结本节课学习内容，老师引导补充。
模仿课文的思维导图，创建有关中秋节的思维导图。根据思维导图写一篇有关中秋节的文章。完成学习目标4. |
