教材分析

本节课是仁爱版七年级英语上册unit 4 topic 3 section A的学习内容,本节课以“What time is it now?”为话题,本节课的的阅读材料是关于时间表达的内容。

学情分析

七年级的学生在经过小学英语的学习后,已经有了一定的英语学习基础,包括词汇基础,语法知识。阅读技巧与方法,写作技巧等。希望通过本节课的学习,不仅让孩子们掌握到一些新的词汇,结构以及一些阅读技巧,更能体会时间的宝贵和养成珍惜时间的良好习惯。

学习目标

1. 通过相关材料和教师引导,能够在阅读前猜测文章主要内容。

2. 通过略读文章,能够总结主旨大意,学会略读技能。

3. 通过细读文章,完成相关练习和思维导图并能够复述课文。

4.通过在小组中交流各种不同的时间表达,养成珍惜时间的良好行为习惯。

评价任务

1. 学生通过相关材料和教师引导,能够在阅读前猜文章主要内容,完成学习目标1

2. 通过略读文章,能够总结主旨大意,学会略读技能,完成学习目标2

学习流程

Step 1. Leading-in 

The teachers shows the pictures about time and leads in the topic.

Students look at the pictures and think about how to express time in English.

To introduce the topic.

Step 2. Preview

The teachers create of a mind map of time and leads the students to review something about numbers. Using a question of “Can you express numbers from one to hundred?” to make students think and check the preview.

Looking at the mind map, students review the knowledge they have known about numbers and think about time.

To have a brief idea of what the story is about.

Step 3.

The teacher plays the video of “ what time is it now?”.

Students listen to the video, answer questions on the book and get some information about the passage.

To locate key information and make clear the structure of the whole passage.

Step 4.Group work

The teacher asks students to read the passage carefully and discuss in the group to find the answers.

Students read the passage carefully and discuss the difficulties in the group. Finally create a mind map of What Time Is It Now.

To activate language and consolidate what Ss have learned.

Step 5. Perform

The teacher gives students five minutes to prepare the performance of this passage.

Students prepare the performance of this passage in group and show in front of the class.

Step 6. Summary

The teacher leads students to summarize what we learned in this class by themselves according to the mind map.

Step 7. Homework.

The teacher leads students to create a new mind map of interested of places and asks students to write an article according to the mind map.

反思

本话题较为接近学生的生活,比较容易激发学生的学习兴趣。在学习这一篇阅读课文时,教师要注意教授给学生给学生良好的阅读策略,通过掌握精读、泛读、略读,使学生学会不同的阅读方法,培养学生的综合能力。
