教学目标:

1.  能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解对话大意。

2.  能够在语境中理解 Look at the  的语用功能,并在图片或动作等帮助下,使用 It’s so …描述动物。

3.  能够朗读对话并能进行角色表演。

教学过程:

一.  Warm-up/Revision

(1) Greetings.

Good morning ,boys and girls.

Do you want to know my English name?  

I want to know your English name.What’s your name?

Ok,children, Let’s begin our class.Are you ready?

Hello,boys and girls.How are you. Very well ,thanks.

Nice to meet you.    Very good

(2) Let’s chant .I have a ...

Do you like chant?OK,Let’s chant together.

I have a panda.Me too.

I have a monkey.Me too.

I have a bear .Me too.

I have a giraffe.Me too. 

Boys and girls ,you did a good job.Wow ,so many animals.

Today ,we’ll learn Unit 3 <at the zoo> 板书课题。

. New content presentation

(1) Teach the new dialogue and get the students to know.

Look at the PPT.Listen.

Now ,let’s look and listen,What animals can you see?      ( 你能看见什么动物?)

We can see a giraffe( 出示giraffe 图片)

And a bear.Yes ,good.

Now listen again,Who is tall

Who is short and fat?

The giraffe is tall. The bear is short and fat.

You are so smart ,thank you.

(2) The sentences:It’s  ... 让同学们感知句型。

a.Today we have a new friend .who?Look it’s a giraffe.

( 出示giraffe 图片)giraffe,giraffe,the giraffe is tall.

Look at that giraffe,it’s.....tall(show the word tall)    excellent.

b.look at that  giraffe,it’s tall .look at the baby giraffe,it’s short.short short.(show the word short)

C.what’s this ?Oh yes, it’s a monkey.look at that  monkey,it’s fat .fat .fat .fat .(show the word fat )

D. This time ,I show you a word ,thin ,thin ,thin ,thin .

(3) Practice the dialogue.

Ok,show time.Use the sentences to practice the dialogue.

3. Let’s say Group work say something about the elephant.

Work in four. 根据指示单词来描述大象。

Stop here ,you are so good.

4. Let’s practice

1. 分别来描述 rabbit,monkey,panda.(适当的增加小组活动,调动全班学生学习的)。

2.Let’s act and Let’s chant.

Look at the giraffe,it’s tall .
