When using reported speech,students may have problems with shifting of the verbs and changes in tenses,pronouns and time expressions.

Teaching Procedures:

Step1、Warm-up

      Greet stedents as usual.

         Show and encourage students to talk about

a successful person that they admire,and ask them why they admire the person so much.

Step2、First Reading

       Match the main idea of each paragraph.

      Listen to the tape and do T/F.
