教学背景分析

（一）课标的理解与把握

相关课标 if引导的条件状语从句。

知识目标：

单词及短语：have a   great time, stay at home, take the bus to..., let sb. in,

掌握句型：I think   I’ll go to the party with Karen and Anna.

If you do, you’ll have a great time.

   能力目标：能运用If引导的条件状语从句对可能发生的情况进行预测。

情感目标：学会合理地安排事情，强化学生未雨绸缪的意识。

（二）教材分析：

本单元是新目标八年级上册最后一个单元的内容，本单元围绕“派对”(party）的话题展开，集中呈现了有关假设或推论的词汇和句型并重点学习核心句型第一条件句If...will...。本节课是第一课时，内容为1a-1c部分，活动1a的主题图呈现了与聚会（party）相关的四个假设，重点突出核心句型If...will...。该活动让学生通过读图，将不同假设的陈述与学生的应答做匹配。本课时培养学生运用If引导的条件状语从句对可能发生的情况进行预测。让学生学会合理地安排事情，强化学生未雨绸缪的意识。

（三）学情分析：

初二学生到本单元已经学过一般将来时态和一般现在时态，已了解了这两种时态的肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句等形式。但首次接触if引导的条件状语从句，在接受上会有一些难度，这就要求我们教师在引入的时候要多从学生的角度思考。在口语运用中判断if条件句的主句、从句也许会存在一定的困难。在运用一般将来时和一般现在时态也许会产生混淆。

设置情境，引出新课

帮助学生轻松的进入英语学习。和谐课堂氛围的创设有助于提高学生的积极性，通过跟唱歌曲把学生引入到课程中来。并有意识地让其感受if 条件句的使用。

通过背景问题的创设，学生对if有了更深的了解。

Step 2：presentation

1.Show some pictures to present the   following:

(1)  I think I’m going to stay at home.

If you do, you’ll be bored.

(2)  I think I’m going to work until night.

If you do, you’ll be tired.

(3) I think I’m going to exercise.

If you do, you’ll be healthy.

(4) If you go to the party, you’ll have a   great time.

(5) If you watch TV every night, your   parents will be mad at you.

首先教师呈现情境幻灯片图片范例并逐一做出解释且逐一出示内容后领读：让学生们逐步感知并学习目标句型if…will…

Step 3. listening

1. 1. Point out the statements and the   responses in activity 1a. Tell Ss to listen to the recordings and complete   the responses.

 2.   Play the recording for the first time, Ss only listen.

 3.   Play the recording again the try to complete the responses.

4. Check the answers.

5. Ask students to pay attention to the   sentences in 1a.

e.g.：

1. I think I’ll wear jeans to the party.   If you do（wear jeans   to the party）,the   teacher won’t let you in.                                               

I think I’ll stay at home.                If you do (stay at home）, you’ll be sorry.

3. If you take the bus to the party, you’ll   be late.

4. If you go to the party with Karen and   Anna, you’ll  have a great time.

Listen and write

Think about how to say out the sentences.

听力练习对于新知识的掌握是必需的，有助于加强多感官、多形式的刺激，更好的掌握语言。在这里先了解有关party的基本环节。

让学生体会If you   do中do代替的词，让他们将代替的内容说出来。并仿照以上例句并改写1a中其它两个句子. 让学生自己动起来，学会观察并做简单总结。

1. Let Ss read the model with a   partner. 

2. Look at the pictures above. Use the   information in 1b. Ask and answer with a partner.

3. Let some pairs ask and answer about   the pictures.

通过活动来检测学生对本课语言点的掌握情况，锻炼学生对所学知识的口头表达能力。

Step 5. Group work

教师给出情境图片按四人一小组假设主语为第三人称Li Lei表达推断并完成出示图片规定任务，完成规定任务之后还可以小组成员轮流继续推断，引导学生以小组为单位玩句子接龙游戏，给出开头：

 Li   Lei will go to school tomorrow. His home is far from school, so he must get   up early. Because if he gets up late, he’ll miss the early bus. If he...,he’ll...  

Play the games in groups

由接龙游戏让学生带着兴趣去运用并练习目标句型：If...will... 让学生们做着游戏在轻松的氛围中更好地掌握所学目标结构。此活动的主题难易顾及到学生的实际情况，操作具有可行性。教师导演，学生主演，充分发挥学生的主体作用和积极能动性。

Ask students to sum up what they learned   today.

Say out what they learned today.

再次让学生来做课堂小结，突出主动学习的重要性；教师作综合陈述，给学生一颗定心丸，给学生增添信心。让学生更加巩固的掌握本课时的重难点。
