Unit 4  It’ s  Warm  Today

一，    教学内容；

Pep四年级上册第四单元A部分第一课时Let’s learn,let’play.

二，    教学目标；

1，      掌握并会在实际情景中运用三会单词warm，cold，cool，      hot，weather。

2，      听懂并会在实际情景中运用This is the weather report ,it’s cool in Lhasa,…句子进行天气预报。

3，      了解不同地区的气候差异。

4，      了解气候变化，增强环保意识。

三，    教学重难点。

重点；三会单词和句子的掌握运用。

难点；运用This is the weather report,it’cool in Lhasa…进行天气预报。

四，教学过程。

1，     warm up

1> let’s sing “Thunder”

师生共唱，并配动作。

【设计意图】：营造融洽英语学习氛围，为本节学习做好准备。

2> Oral ;师生问候。

T ;Good morning ,what’s your name ?

过渡；（问一名学生）T;Look here ,what’s this ? Yes ,this is a map

Of China.

2,leading

1>出示Harbin,Beijing,Lhasa,Hong Kong,Xingyang,Kunming图片

 T ;Can you tell me ,where these cities are on the map ?

 (师标明各城市的位置)

2>T :you are very clever ,what shall we learn ?

过渡：（出示宋英杰工作照）T ; who’s this man ?what’s he doing ?

                             Yes ,he is a weather reporter on CCTV , he is making the weather report,we shall learn Unit 4 It’s Warm Today

(板书课题)

T；Today ,let’s talk about the weather report

(板书weather report )

【设计意图】；创设真实情景情，普及地理常识，引入本节课题和所学内容。

  1>板书后教读weather report

a,认读，师一边，生2遍

b,快慢节奏读

c,分组，分排，个人读

  2>教学cool

a,   T: what’s the weather like in Lhasa?(用动作演示凉爽)

     T;It’s cool in Lhasa.

b,板书cool ,并采用1>步的单词读的形式，提问时要求伴随动作。

c,T; What’s the weather like in Lhasa?

 (引导生)S; It’s cool in Lhasa .(板书)

d,操练句子，采用分组读，个人读多种形式。

e,以chant形式吟唱It’s cool in Lhasa。

 3>用2>步的形式教学warm,hot,cold.

 【设计意图】；用动作演示本节单词的意义，同时让生在学习时也伴随动作，即加强记忆，也同时增强学习趣味性，教学单词时，始终强调词不离句的原则，为后续学习打下基础。

 4>(拓展到信阳，昆明)

   T;What’s the weather like in Xinyang/Kunming ?

   (引导)S;It’s …in…

【设计意图】；适当拓展，渗透本土教育。

 5>practice;    a,集体认读，师一次生2遍。

                b.师指单词，生快速抢读

【设计意图】；以有趣、多样的单词操练形式，加强单词的记忆,集体学习与个人学习紧密结合。

 6>Tape 听音跟读

 7> Game 1 :看动作，猜词

让一名学生上台，不让其看到词卡，让其余的学生看词卡不出声做动作，台上的学生说单词，然后台上的学生和台下的学生互换形式。

   Game 2,转轮盘

    大轮盘上写城市名称，小盘上写天气单词，转动轮盘，让生看指针指向的城市和天气单词运用it’s …in …句型

   （教师要演示游戏规则，指示语简单明确）

【设计意图】；由单词到句型，逐步过渡，为下一环节做好铺垫。

  过渡；T : you must be good weather reporters

  Game 3,小小天气预报员

a,(出示天气预报片头)T: Do you want to make the weather report ?Ok,let me show you .

 播放天气预报片头，配音乐

b, 让生播报天气，配音乐，注意指导，最好不打断学生的播报节奏。

【设计意图】；体现学生学习主体性，以真实的情景，让学生在游戏中完成本节学习的任务。

8>extension

 a,过渡；T; A moment ago ,we talk about the weather in China, generally ,in winter,it’s cold,but in America this winter,it’s warm.

 (出示反常气候图片)T; Do you know ,why ?

（出示污染图片） T; we are polluting our enviroment ,what shall we do ?

 (出示环保图片) T;We must propect our earth,our home.

 b.自编chant:（师生共唱，并配动作）

               This is the weather report

               It’s cool in Lhasa.

               It’s cold in Harbin.

               It’s hot in in Hong Kong.

               It’s warm in Beijing.

【设计意图】；普及环保教育，关心环境，养成低碳生活意思，同时以chant的形式在轻松、愉悦的氛围里结束本节所学。
