Stap1 Warm-up
1. Greetings. Good morning , boys and girls.
2. Review
1) Let’s begin our class. First, Let’s play a game. ‘I do you say’.

2) Let’s review the simple future tense. The subject: ‘人+be +going to+要做的事+时间地点或其它’. For E.g. ：
run I am going to run in the park.
Look at blackboard; make similar sentences with the words.
（出示动词，让学生说出一般将来时形式并造句，通过这种游戏形式把学生的注意力迅速吸引到英语课堂中，既复习了一些已学动词以及将来时的句子，又为后面的学习和运用作好铺垫。）
Step II. Lead-in and Presentation.
1. Free talk:
I’m so happy today, because we are going to have a sports day. Do you ‘sports day? ’ ……
On this day, you can jump run play football …..
(自由谈话，引出运动会)
2. I am going to run fast on sports day. Are you going to run with me? Are you …….?
(引出目标句型练习并合唱chant，活跃课堂气氛)
T: You did a good job! Clap your hands for yourselves!
T: Today, we are going to learn Module 9 Unit 1 Are you going to run on sport day? (板书课题，读课题) In fact, Daming is going to run on sports day. Now, let’s go and have a look. (导入课文)
Step III Text learning
T：Ok now, open your books and turn to page 50.
1．Listen to the tape and circle the new words.（听录音，整体感知课文）
2．Read the text by yourselves, then try to understand the new words .（自读课文，理解生单词）
3．Learn the new words
1) Learn to read and try to understand the meanings.
2) Help students memorize the words.
（出示图片帮学生理解单词，教师正音并领读，做小游戏鼓励学生在课堂上记忆所学新词）
4. Listen to the tape again, then answer the questions.
1) Learn the first part.
