形式主语（it）

1 概念：

形式主语it，并无实际语义，为满足于语法的需要避免句子头重脚轻，it代替的是句子的逻辑主语。它有以下几种情况：

2 分类

1）  to do 做主语

It is nice to meet you!

It is important to learn English well.

2）  doing 做主语

It is no use crying over the spilt milk.

It is no good reading in the sun.

3）  名词性从句做主语

It is clear that you are right.

It is well known that English is important.
