Unit3 What would you like?A教学设计
【教材分析】
本课时是人教版PEP小学英语五年级上册Unit3 What would you like? Part A Let’s learn & Role-play的内容.本单元的话题是食物,本单元的特点是与生活实际相结合。本教材要求学生通过学习,能够用英语表述常见的食物名称,能够熟练运用句型征求别人喜欢吃什么食物。课文中的部分四会单词和句子在前面的学习中有所铺垫,教授时候,可以采用以旧带新的方式引导学生学习。
【学情分析】
在三年级和四年级的英语课程里学生已经学习了一些关于食物方面的知识,能够简单用英语句型表达自己的意愿,本课时继续围绕食物展开话题,本节课教学务少,句型简单,教学内容很贴近学生们的生活,是同学们爱吃的食物。这就要教师在活动上充分设计生活情景,调动学生的情绪,加之行之有效的多媒体教学手段和采用多样的教学方法,注重知识的反复操练,关注学困生,学生的学习效果相信能好。绝大多数同学听、说、读的能力较好,上英语课的积极性很高,只有几个同学程度一般,教师在课堂上给予重点关注,让他们很好地融入到学习中,使他们在有趣的课堂活动中感知语言。
【教学目标】
1、知识目标
(1)学生能听,说,认读生词和词组:ice cream, tea, sandwich, salad, hamburger.
(2) 学生能听懂并会说句型:What would you like to eat/drink? I’d like.....
2、技能目标
(1)能在合适的场合运用句子:What would you like to eat/drink? I’d like.....
(2)能完成Role-play部分角色扮演游戏。
3、情感目标 保持合理的饮食习惯,教育学生学会珍惜粮食。
【教学重点和难点】
【教学重点】
学生逐步学会听,说,读、写生词和词组:ice cream, tea, sandwich, salad, hamburger.并在学习过程中结合所学句型替换关键词。
【教学难点】
本课时的词汇量较大,应设计有趣、符合学生生活实际的情景,以激发学生的兴趣,调动学生的积极性,达到教学目标。

【教学过程】
Step one Warming up
1、Dai1ly greetings and free talk
Hello, boys and girls,!How are you today? Nice to see you.
2.Sing a song
I will give you a song《An apple a day keeps the doctor away》, Let’s sing together ,提问:What’s your favorite food?
3、Review the words about food.(课件展示)教师提问:What would you like?指名回答。
Game:火眼金睛,我最快。
活动方式:教师课件出示以前学过的单词图片,学生迅速说出英语,最快又正确的同学给予表扬:Good job/great/clever....
Step two Presentation
教师出示肯德基、德克士、麦当劳的图片,提问:T:Do you know what they are? Ss:德克士、肯德基、麦当劳 T:Yes,they are。
They are three popular restaurants of western fast food. Do you know the western fast food? Today let’s learn some popular western fast food.
1.Let’s learn
(1)教师课件出示冰激凌图片:T:What’s this? Do you like it? It’s an ice cream. 领读,自读,拼读法,区分单复数: an ice cream & some ice creams. 教师提问:What would you like to eat? I’d like some ice creams.
(2)T:What’s my favorite food? T:My favorite food is salad.
教师出示多媒体课件出示salad的图片,引出生词salad,领读并拼读, 采用“ high & low voice”方法,激发学生兴趣。讲述vegetable salad& fruit salad.
(3)It’s 12 o’clock, I’m hungry ,are you hungry?教师课件出示hamburger图片问:What would you like to eat? 领读,拼读法,采用“group1& group2”方法,将全班分组,进行比赛读单词,奖励一些食物(可画在黑板上)。同时,区分单复数:a hamburger & some hamburgers.
出示图片,教师提问:What would you like to eat? I’d like some hamburgers.
(4) T: Do you like bread? Yes. Today I give you other kind of bread, that is sandwich. 教师课件出示:sandwich. 区分单复数。What would you like to eat? I’d like some sandwiches.
Game:开火车
每一竖行从第一个人开始提问:What would you like to eat? I’d like..... 以此类推,到最后一人,用时最短的组获胜。
(5)If you thirsty, What do you want to eat? 课件出示a cup of tea的图片,引出单词tea,领读,拼读法,采用“group1& group2”方法读。
提问:What would you like to eat? I’d like some tea.
介绍中国的red tea & green tea.
(6)提问学生:What would you like to drink? I’d like..... (指名回答)
游戏:Guessing game
Are you ready? Yes ,I’m ready.
教师课件出示一个幸运大转盘,谁能猜猜上面每个小转盘西面藏得什么吃的呢?(ice cream, tea, sandwich, salad, hamburger.)学生来猜,猜对给予奖励。
“看谁反应快”If you see a smile face, read it quickly, ok?
2、Role-play
创设情境,课件出示一则招聘信息:The hotel need a waiter& waitress. Do you want to try? 出示Role-play内容。
(1)教师扮演客人,学生扮演服务员。
(2)男生扮演客人,女生扮演服务员。(鼓励:You all did a good job!)
(3)group1& group2相互问答,表现好的给予奖励。
(4)完成Role-play 填空内容P25。
Step3 Consolidation and extension
(1)完成巩固练习,根据意思补全句子。
(2)Introduce some famous food in China.
中国特色小吃:dumplings, sweet dumplings,zongzi, mooncake
(3)提问:If you have lots of money, What would you like?
教育学生:Keep on top of your diet! 保持合理饮食。
(4)学生记住:World hunger hits one billion!
Cherishing the food is to have a passion for life
珍惜粮食就是热爱生命。
Step4 Sum-up.
What can you learn in our class? Say about it.教师引导学生总结本节课的收获。
