【教学目标】

一、能力目标：

能够运用有关词组询问、回答有关家务劳动的内容。

二、知识目标：

1. 能够听、说、认读动词词组empty the trash和句子“I’m helpful! I can sweep the floor.”

2. 能够听、说、读、写动词词组cook the meals, water the flowers, sweep the floor, clean the bedroom。

3. 能够听懂、说唱歌谣“Dog, dog, what can you do? ”，并初步熟悉句型：What can you do? I can…

4. 能掌握会干某事的表达法。

三、情感目标：

培养学生热爱劳动的好习惯和团结友爱、乐于助人的良好品质。

【教学准备】

教师准备教学过程 中所需要的图片、英文词卡、录音机及录音带、充气锤。

【教学过程】

一、Warming up/Revision（热身/复习）

1. 情绪热身

(l)  Let’s chant

① 教师播放start部分Let’s chant的录音，让学生边听边看图并能理解歌谣的意思。

② 反复听2-3遍后，可带领学生小声重复。

③ 拍手掌握节奏，教师将Mike变成本班同学的名字进行提问：Tom, Tom, what can you do？可提问3-4人。

2. 划分小组

全班分为四组，在学习过程中展开竞争，看哪个组得到的花朵多。

3. 复习

复习原来学过的动物，如：fish, elephant, monkey, duck, horse, pig等，同时问学生：“Duck, duck, what can you do?”学生回答后，教师把这些信息编成歌谣，如：

Duck, duck, what can you do?

I can swim, I can swim.

Monkey, monkey, what can you do?

I can climb. I can climb.

Hose, horse, what can you do?

I can run. I can run.

Rabbit, rabbit, what can you do?

I can jump. I can jump.

全体同学起立并和老师一起吟唱，同时做出相应的动作。

【设计意图】通过Let’s chant ，学生对句子的读法及意义已基本掌握，在此基础上复习其他动物并编成有节奏的歌谣，吟唱歌谣和做出相应的动作，既可以营造轻松的英语气氛又使学生倍感兴趣，为引入新课打好基础。

4. 总结以引入新课，如：“Ducks can swim. Rabbits can jump. Horses can run. … What can you do?”由于学生在二单元学过do homework，read books等词组，所以学生可能会答出如下答语：

I can do homework. I can read books. 等。

二、Presentation/Practice（新课呈现/操练）

（一）分步学习新单词

1. 通过复习bedroom学习词组clean the bedroom

（1）学习词组clean the bedroom:

教师拿出bedroom词卡并复习它的拼写后，向大家介绍：“This is my bedroom. What am I doing?”并做出拖地的动作。学生猜出后出示并认读词组clean the bedroom。

（2）操练词组clean the bedroom:

教师和学生同时做出拖地的动作并运用living room, bathroom, kitchen, room等词练习本词组和句型：What can you do? I can clean the bedroom.

2. 通过复习floor学习词组sweep the floor

（1）学习词组sweep the floor

教师用脚踏地，问学生：“What’s this?”然后教师拿起笤帚做扫地的动作同时问学生：“What am I doing?”引出词组sweep the floor.

（2）操练词组sweep the floor

同位问答练习后，教师个别检查：What can you do? I can sweep the floor. 教师引出You’re helpful.

3. 通过复习water学习词组water the flowers

（1）学习词组water the flowers

教师拿出事先准备好的矿泉水，学生会不由自主地说出“water”一词，教师再走到一花盆旁浇花，引出词组water the flowers。

（2）操练词组water the flowers，并重点拼读flowers

连锁反应练习这个词组，在每个学生答出“I can water the flowers. I’m helpful.”后，全体学生拼读单词flowers。并用小组内学生字母接龙的方法展开竞争，巩固拼读单词flowers。

4. 通过课件教学词组cook the meals

（1）学习词组cook the meals

课件呈现做饭画面，引出词组cook the meals并认读。

（2）操练词组cook the meals

教师问一生：“Are you helpful at home, A?”教师引导该生回答“Yes. I can cook the meals.”然后该生问其他任意一个同学这个问题，依次类推，练习词组cook the meals。

5. 通过实物及情景教学词组empty the trash

（1）教师利用班内垃圾桶内的垃圾教学单词trash，然后做出倒垃圾的动作引出词组empty the trash。

（2）操练词组empty the trash

小组内操练句型What can you do? I can empty the trash.

【设计意图】通过运用不同形式的呈现新词组的方式，可以保持学生对新知识的新奇感；通过通过运用不同形式的操练新词组的方式，可以使学生有效地巩固新词组及句型。

（二）听录音模仿语音语调

1. Listen / Repeat / Imitate

2. Listen and number.

听录音的同时，让学生对黑板上的词组进行排序。

（三）趣味操练

1. 做动作，说句子：先在小组内练习，然后每组指定两名学生参加比赛，胜者得花朵奖励。

2. 接力赛：每组学生连锁问答，并且所回答的词组不能用本组内学生用过的。能顺利接完的小组得奖励。

【设计意图】通过不同形式的比赛，既增加了趣味性，又有效地巩固了新词组，突破本课难点。

三、Consolidation and extension（巩固与拓展）

1. Read and match. （读读并连线。）

2. Sum up（总结）

I can clean the bedroom. I can sweep the floor. I can water the flowers. I can cook the meals. I can empty the trash. I’m helpful.

3. Make a survey.

学生可以自由问答：“What can you do? I can…”调查表如下：

【设计意图】通过各种练习、总结、调查等方法，可以使学生充分巩固新词组。

四、Emotional Theme（情感升华）

You should do housework at home. You’re helpful. 在家里你应该做家务，你是有用的。

【设计意图】教育学生在家里做力所能及的家务活，做一个对社会，对家庭有用的人。。

五、Homework（家庭作业）

1. Listen and read Let’s learn. Write the four-skilled phases three times. （听读Let’s learn, 书写四会词组三遍。）

2. Do housework at home and write them out. (回家后把自己做的家务活用英语写出来。) （选做题）
