Step 1

Hello boys and girls, let’s begin our new lesson.

First, let’s learn a song. <播放视频，学唱歌曲Where are you from?>

歌曲的名字叫 “Where are you from?” 也是我们要学习的第八单元的标题及要学习的重点句型。同学们听着旋律很熟悉吧，它是两只老虎的歌曲的旋律，同学们只要学会这两句话就会唱这首歌了。这首歌就两句歌词 “Where are you from?  I’m from china.”

歌曲里有两个新词。（There are two new words in the song.）

From                  来自-----        

Where are you from?      I’m from-------

China        中国

            I’m from china.

            He is from china.

T:  Can you sing the song now?

   OK, sing it together.

T:  Now I’ll ask you this question.

   Where are you from?

S1:  I’m from china.

S2:  I’m from Henan.

S3:  I’m from qingfeng.

S4:  --------

T:  Maybe you can answer I’m from Sunjiuzhai.

T:  OK ,now, look at the pictures, do you know them? Who are they? And where are they from?

T:  Open your books, turn to page 50. Look at one. Read the dialogue, then match the pictures . Quickly! (学生阅读对话，完成match.)

T: well done. OK,  if you are he or she, how to introduce yourself.

  For example: I’m Mike. I’m from Canada.
