Unit 3 Topic 2 Section B教学设计

 

课题:Unit 3 Topic 2 Section B  课时:one  period设计人:fuhuijuan

教学内容分析: This lesson is the second part of Topic2. It mainly talks about people’s jobs and workplaces. The students will go on learning how to ask and answer about people’s workplaces on the basis of Topic 1.

 

教学目标:

一、知识与技能

(1) Learn the sentence patterns about inquiring workplaces.

(2) Go on learning the expressions about occupations.

(3) Develop and train the students’ abilities of communication.

分析学生

The Ss can read and translate the words and phrases correctly. There will be some difficulties in making new conversations for some unable students.

教学分析

一、教学重点

The main activity is 1a and 1b.

The teaching key points is: Be able to ask and answer about the workplaces. 

二、教学难点

难点

How to use the aux. verbs “do / does”, though they have learnt it in Topic 1, and the words “work and works” correctly.

解决办法

Let the students read the conversations more and work in pairs, using the aux. verbs “do / does” to make the new conversations. And they can help each other.

2.Revise the words and the useful expressions about jobs in Section A according to some pictures in the Power Point.

呈现与讲解

 

1. Show a picture with a farmer working on a farm . Ask and answer between the teacher and students according to the picture , and lead to the new sentence patterns.

  T: What does the man do?

  Ss: He is a farmer.

  T: Where does he work?

  Ss: He works on a farm.

(板书并要求学生掌握。)

2.利用构词法教授新词drive,板书并要求学生掌握。

  T:    Look at the small blackboard and guess the meaning of“drive.

3.教师呈现幻灯片并谈论。

Ss: He works in a hospital.

(板书并要求学生掌握。)

4.教师将Section A3a中的图片呈现出来,依次和学生进行问答练习。

S4: He works in an office.

T: What does the girl do?

S5: She is a nurse.

5. 总结: (T: OK, now let’s make a summary together. )

2.     Listen to 1a again and follow it by imitating the pronunciation and intonation.

3.     Let the students act 1a out in pairs .Finish 1a.

4.     Let the students first read the example in 1b, then work in pairs to practice after the example. Finally the teacher chooses several pairs to act it out according to the pictures .Finish 1b.
