Module6_Unit1_Happy_birthday教案

Teacher: Sun beibei

Teaching aims:

1  Knowldge aim: Students can read and say the words: happy, birthday, here(here’s=here is), this, pencil, pen, cake.

2  Ability aims:

Students can use the sentences “Happy birthday! Here’s …….” on one’s birthday and give one’s birthday presents.

3  Emotion aims:

 Students can know the difference birthday custom between China and Western countries.

Emphasis points:

1、    The students’ pronunciation of the words: happy, birthday, here(here’s=here is), this……21教育网

Difficult points:

1、    How to keep students’ interesting of learning English?

2  How to set up the birthday scenes, make the class feeling true?

Teaching steps:

1、   Warming up and revision.

2、   Leading into:

T: look at the picture ,what’s this?

Show a birthday cake, then introduce happy birthday.

Write the title : “Happy birthday!” and teach the new words.

Teacher hold cards of cake, and birthday hat on head, then ask students “Can you sing the song?  Let’s sing it!”

T: Today is Sam’s birthday too, he holds a birthday party. Let’s listen then answer my question :

1 What present does Daming give to Sam?

 2How old is Sam ?
