作业要求 :

参训教师将《作业二:教学设计》的内容付之于课堂教学。教学的过程,请同伴帮忙录制(借助手机、DV、摄像机均可)10—40分钟的视频,只要是完整的教学片断都可以。

一.Teaching Aims

 Key structures: may, might, probably (for possibility)

2. Listening skill: To understand conversations involving introduction of weather in

listening.

3.Speaking skill: To talk about weather and possibilities with your friends

      Difficult points:  Talk about weather and possibilities with your friends

四:Teaching Procedures:

Step 1 Warming up   

1.      Listen to the song of  How’s the weather?

2.      Free talk   (1)What’s the weather like today?

(2)What kind of weather do you like?

(3)How can we know the weather?

Step 2 Presentation

1.      Watch a video about weather report.

2.      Look at the symbols of weather and say what they stand for.

3.      Teach the expression of temperature.

Step3. Pair work

Show some pictures of the weather. Ask the students to talk about the weather and temperature .

A: How will the weather be in…?

B: It might/probably be …in...

A:What will the temperature be in…?

B: It might be between …and…   degree(s)

Step4. Listening

   1. Listen and check the correct information in the table

2. Listen again and fill in the blanks.

3.Listen and choose the correct answers.

4. Listen and complete the table

Step5.Reading

1. Read the dialogue, check the true sentences and correct the false sentences.

2.Read after the tape sentence by sentence.

Step6. Make a weather report.

    Test: Now, Suppose you are a weather reporter and you will make a weather report of big cities inChinain your classroom.

Homework: 1.Read and remember the new words and sentences.  2.Read the passage five times.   3Talk about the weather with your friends
