作业要求 :

参训教师将《作业二:教学设计》的内容付之于课堂教学。教学的过程,请同伴帮忙录制(借助手机、DV、摄像机均可)10—40分钟的视频,只要是完整的教学片断都可以。

Unit 4 Where’s my schoolbag?

Section A1a-2c

一.Teaching aims and demands:

1. Language knowledge

To master the new words :  table, bed, bookcase, sofa, chair, schoolbag, book, key.

To master the sentence :   -Where is/are …?  

-It’s/They’re in / on/ under…   

To master the prepositions:  on, in, under.

 

2.Language skills

     Can ask the question where is/are ….and make a proper answer.

     Can make a simple conversation to know where the things are.

     Improve listening skills.

 

二.Teaching key points:

1.Master the name of furniture.

2.Can use Where questions and make proper answer.

3.Master the Prepositions on in under and use them correctly.

 

三.Teaching difficulty:

Know the position of place and use on in under correctly.

 

四.Teaching method:

 

 Using the Role Playing, and guessing to finish the task activities of Pair work and Group work.

 

五.Teaching tools:

PPT , Tape recorder and blackboard.

六.Teaching procedures:

Step1. Warming-up

1. Greetings.

  2. Watch a short flash.

3. Show the learning objectives.

 

Step2. Vocabulary Teaching

1. Show some pictures and learn the

new words.

2. Ask and answer with the new words.

-What’s this ?

-It’s a….

3 Show the things as quickly as possible,

and get them to name the things they see..

4. Showa picture of a room with many things in it, and ask Ss to talk about what can they see in the picture.

5. Match the words with the things in the picture. (Section A1a)

 

Step3. Presentation

1. Present a picture of the preposition on with baseball and box. Present the sentence “where is baseball?/It’s on the box. Ask Ss to read the sentence after T.

2. Present a picture of the preposition under with baseball and box. present the sentence “where is baseball?/It’s under the box. Ask Ss to read the sentence after T.

3. Present a picture of the preposition in with same things……

 

Step4. Practice.

1. Show three pictures that Tom is in/on/under the box.

T: where is Tom.?

2.  Ask Ss to do the actions according to

the teacher’s order.

3. Show pictures. Ask the Ss to do

   pair work.

S1: where is the book?

S2: It’s on the sofa.

S3: where is schoolbag?

         

 4. Show pictures. Ask the Ss to do

   group work. one by one.

 

Step5.  Presentation

1. Show some pictures.

T: What are they?

Ss: They are books.

T: Where’re the books?

Ss: They are on the sofa.

  2.  Show pictures. Ask the Ss to do

     pair work.

 

Step6.  Practice

1. Change some pictures.

S-S one ask and another answer. “where is…/It’s on/under/in…”

“Where’re… /they’re on/in/under…”

 

Step8. Listening

1.       Listen and number the things you hear.(Section A 1b)

2. Check the answers.

3. Listen and number the things (Section A2a).

4. Listen again and write down where the things, then find the things from2aand number them (2b)

5. Ask Ss to listen to the tape again, read after it, and try to imitate it.

6. Ask questions according to the picture in 2b.

7. Check the answers.

8. Read the tape scripts together.

 

Step9. Write challenge.

1.      Show a picture with many things.

2.      Ask Ss to look at it carefully and write down what they saw and where the things are.
