作业要求 :

参训教师将《作业二:教学设计》的内容付之于课堂教学。教学的过程,请同伴帮忙录制(借助手机、DV、摄像机均可)10—40分钟的视频,只要是完整的教学片断都可以。

该视频是BOOK6 unit4 Using language的内容,该课涉及环保主题,其目的是让学生运用所学内容宣传环保理念,实现一个由知识输入到输出的过程,前期的reading是输入环节,后期的writing and speaking是输出环节

Teaching procedure

1. Lead-in

Show students a video reflecting a social or natural problem with the intention of arousing students’ interest and leading them onto the reading part.

    What has caused this phenomenon?

‚Let’s do something! What can we do about global warming?

2. Reading

① Skimming:

Questions are set to train students abilities of getting the purpose of the letter and different opinions about the same issue.

Why did Ouyang Guang write this letter to Earth Care?

What's Ouyang Guang's idea about individual's effect on global warming?

    Does Earth Care agree that individuals can do nothing about global warming?

② detailed reading

Revise the emphatic it

Q:According to Earth Care, what causes the growth of carbon dioxide?

The growth of carbon dioxide actually comes as a result of many things we do every day.    It is many things we do every day that causes the growth of carbon dioxide.

Read all the suggestions to get enough input.

Do some words filling exercises with the help of the pictures.

3.  Writing and speaking

Students are asked to make a video about global warming using the words and expressions from the textbook.

The video should contain the following points

?introduce something about global warming (2~3 sentences)

?tell people the ways to deal with global warming (more than three ways)

?stress the importance of working together

 

use at least three of the following expressions

4.  Mobilization
