Holiday journey is not only one of the topics which Ss are interested in, but also a topic of importance. This unit introduces us one of the big cities in the USA—Los Angeles. In case that this cityis not familiar to Ss, the dialogue begins with two famous places—Disneyland and Hollywood to arouse Ss’ interest and learn more about Los Angeles. As for the language point, in the previous two modules, Ss have learned about the past simple regular and irregular verbs, which lay a foundation of this lesson, thus it will be easier for them to understand the verbs in this dialogue. However, this lesson focuses on the Wh-questions with past simple verbs, so T needs to provide enough activities for Ss and help them to learn by using.
