2. Scanning 

Read the passage carefully and fill in the chart.

Step 3. Summary

1. Summarize the article “How can you stop smoking?”. 

2. Discuss these questions in groups.

Q1. What kind of person do you think  James’ grandfather is?

Q2. What other information could have been included?

Q3. What do you think can be done to protect non-smokers (especially women and babies) from those who smoke?

Step 4. Homework

Search on the Internet or other sources for information about how to stop smoking.
