一、反思教学内容

 Thanks to the wildly popular South Korean TV series Descendants of the Sun, which will end on April 14, the popularity of its male lead, known as “Song Joong-ki Syndrome (综合症)”, has swept across Asia. Many female fans have taken to social media to call Song “husband”. In the romantic drama, Song, 30, plays the handsome Captain Yoo Shi-jin, the leader of a peacekeeping unit in a dangerous area. Even though he is falling in love with a beautiful doctor, the captain also has to make life-or-death decisions without any hesitation.

 

二、反思教学过程

With the Korean TV series Descendants of the Sun becoming a big hit, Song Joong-ki has gained great popularity in Asia.

Doubted as he was, Song has proved his good acting skills in the TV series.

 

Actually, to be a good actor, Song came up with different ideas to overcome his shyness.

Aside from his good acting skills, Song used to be a talented speed skater in high school.

 

三、反思教学效果

In fact, in order to become an actor, Song has changed his personality. He used to be very shy and didn’t feel at ease in front of cameras. To deal with this, the actor came up with the idea of creating a friendly filming environment by remembering the names of all the people he was working with. Rather than saying “hey”, he called them by their names. Because when he got close to people, his anxiety was reduced.
