教学方法

本着“以教师为主导，学生为主体”的原则，综合初中学生的年龄特征，本单元应采用任务型教学模式。运用多媒体教学等信息技术，分三个课时来完成这个单元。

教学设计思路

     通过教学，引导学生学会问候他人和学会如何做自我介绍；能从对话中获取对方的基本信息；建立班级电话号码簿；学会制作个性名片；能向他人简单地介绍自己名字的含义.

2.Presentation

(1)Show the new words and setences.Explain the meanings.

Ask the students to work in pairs.

(2)Introdnce First name and Last name.

Diffferences between Chinese names and English nemes.

(3)Show some pictures.Revise the numbers 0-9.They talk about their telephone numbers.

3.Practice

Practise the dialogdes.Strengthen their comprehension and the use of the new lesson.

4.Listening and doing exercises.

Students listen to the tape and finish the exercises .Check the answers.

5.Consolidation

Students work in groups.They ask and answer in groups.Try to write down the new sentences they learn.

6.Homework

(1)收集你所喜欢的人物的有关资料，如：name , nationality, birthplace, job, workplace, ect.并准备向全班介绍

(2)Write a composition.Introduce themselves to their friends .

1.放一段学生熟悉的英文歌曲，调节学习气氛。在轻快的音乐中学习,使学生更乐学，吸引注意力。

2．跟学生热情地打招呼，尽快缩短老师和学生

之间的距离。如学生未能理解，可用汉语补充解释.分组合作学习，激发学习积极性。介绍中英文姓和名的差别。教学数字0-9。

3.播放磁带, 训练学生准确获取信息的能力，同时检测一下学生对新句型的掌握情况。如有需要,可播放磁带两遍,播放之前，向学生讲清练习听力的步骤。听完检验答案后，有必要以大组为单位重复操练一下这些句型。

4.在学生进行小组进行对话时，教师可在教室不同的位置走动，聆听同学们的对话，及时肯定他们的进步，并在他们需要的时候提供帮助，纠正不正确的语音语调。

5.请学生表演对话，分享学习成果，广交朋友，体验快乐。

6.布置课后作业，巩固所学内容，及时查漏补缺。
