教学设计思路

课堂整体运用任务型教学模式，培养学生独立自主的学习能力。本课指导学生通过听说获取信息，培养学生的听说技能。在教学过程中，采用多媒体手段辅助教学，利用各种图片、实物和习题任务贯穿整个教学过程。

1. Ask the student on duty to give today’s report.

2. Ask one student from the class to answer a question about  the report.

Play a song about the weather.

Ask: How is the weather in the song?

Task1: the words about the weather

1. Show some pictures on the screen and ask the students: How is the weather? /What’s the weather like?

2. Then ask the students to tell the weather according to the weather signs.

3. Help the students revise the  words about the weather in different seasons.

Step4 Task2:

How to read the temperature

1. Show some temperature on the screen and teach the students how to read it.

2. Then ask the students to work in pairs to ask and answer about the weather and the temperature.

Listening

Play the listening part for the students

Step6   Task4:

Try to be a weather reporter

1.Play a short video of a Chinese weather report.

2.Then ask the students to learn to be an English weather reporter

Step7  Summary

The teacher ask: What did we learn in this lesson? The students summarize.
