教学设计思路

本课时设计的基本理念是“以学生为中心”的新课程理念。主要采用独立学习和小组学习相结合的策略。要求学生独立完成几项学习任务，同时利用小组合作学习的方式培养学生的团结合作精神，培养他们对体育的热爱并学习运动员顽强拼搏的精神。课堂整体运用任务型教学模式，培养学生独立自主的学习能力。本课指导学生通过听说获取信息，培养学生的听说技能。在教学过程中，采用多媒体手段辅助教学，利用各种图片、实物和习题任务贯穿整个教学过程。

Step1 Warming-up

1.       See a short video about NBA match.

2.       Free talk: “Do you like basketball? Who’s your favorite basketball player? Why? ”

Step2 Pre-task

1 .T: Do you know NBA stands for?

Then show students some pictures and show the new words as well.

Step 3While -task

1.Listen and complete the sentences(Activity2):

T:Tony and his dad are talking about basketball.

(1)Have the students read the sentences and guess what the missing words are.

(2)Listen and complete the sentences.

(3)Listen again and check the answers.

2.Listen and complete the table(Activity3).

T:Betty Lingling and Tony are talking about Tony’s basketball team.

（1）       Have the students look at the table ,listen to the recording twice and complete the table.

（2）       Have the students check the answers with their partners,then check as a class.

3.       Listen and read:

Have the students listen and read the dialogue by themselves and complete the sentences in Activity 4.Then check their answers in pairs, then in class.

4.Read and remember

Ask students to read the dialogue in groups and try to find out some important language points by themselves then help them solve the difficult points if necessary.

5. Act out the dialogue.

Step 4Post-task

1.Complete the passage.

Let the students complete the passage with the words in the box(Activity 5).

2.Do a survey.In groups of four ,make a survey about sports and then make a report .

设计意图：用NBA比赛吸引学生兴趣，然后通过与学生谈论篮球及他们喜欢的篮球运动员引导学生进入新的模块内容，训练了学生的反应的同时又在无形中培养学生大胆说英语的习惯。

设计意图：延续之前关于篮球的话题，引导学生简单地谈论图片,训练学生描述事情的能力。在描述的同时学习新单词和句型，做到词不离句，为学生扫清听的障碍。

设计意图：让学生预测所缺单词,然后听对话填所缺的单词，培养学生听力技能。

设计意图：让学生从听觉上对课文有初步的理解，同时把表格按照中考题型进行难度降低处理，培养学生通过听获取细节信息技巧。

设计意图：让学生通过听和跟读课文纠正自己的语音并且进一步熟悉课文内容后完成句子，培养了学生通过读获取细节信息能力。

设计意图：通过小组活动提高学生间的自主、合作学习，让学生充分地实践运用语言，并激发学生创造性思维的发展。

设计意图：让学生根据对话内容完成文段，检查学生对对话的掌握情况。

通过小组的活动，让学生充分地实践运用语言，并无形中突破了本课的重点。
