教学课题:Important language points
一. 学习目标:
1.        To get the students to learn and grasp some important new words and expressions.
2.        To get the students to learn some useful sentence patterns .

1. dream of / about doing 梦想，梦见（后接名词，代词，动名词）
   e.g. What a small world! I wouldn’t dream of meeting you here.
       The young soldier sometimes dreams of his hometown.
       Everyone dreams of a better future.
           dream  n. have/dream a beautiful dream, realize a dream
2. get / make sb interested in = interest sb, show interest in sth/ sb
get n./pron. adj.=make n./pron. adj.
   e.g. They didn’t get home after school as usual, which got/ made mother worried.
3.掌握prefer的相关句型
4.once  conj.一旦……(就), 一经……便……,相当于as soon as
e.g. Once you understand the rule, you will have no difficulty.
Translation:
1)      钱一旦用完，我们该怎么办?
2)     一旦做了，就要把事情做得最好.
5.Sentence focus:
(1) It was my sister who first had the idea to cycle along the Mekong River …
(2) She gave me a determined look---the kind that said she wouldn’t change her mind .
(3) It becomes rapids as it passes through deep valleys, traveling across western Yunnan Province .
